09.002 - Timed Switch

This is a very useful piece of logic! How it works? Well when I press this button it moves a piston with a magnetic key on the end. Once it gets to the other switch it activates what its attached too. Confused? Well here is a tutorial!

First off we need to make the following things in the picture. (You don't need light you could have an emitter but this is just for my tutorial. Make the piston reach all the way to the other magnetic key switch and make it stiff. The button needs to be directional so it moved the piston when you press it. The magnetic key switch needs to be attached to whatever you want to happen. In my case I want the light to come on.

The most important thing is that the piston is the main part of this. If you set it to take 10 seconds it will come on in10 seconds. So you could make it take as long as you like. This is also known as a delay switch (sometimes) ;)
